It was a bit of an international affair with Paul and Karen’s family flying in from the UK and New Zealand for the big day. Karen looked amazing in her Spurling wedding dress and Wittner shoes. Then again Paul scrubbed up pretty well in his Ted Baker suit.
Their ceremony was held inside the grand Victorian Terrace at Church364. With the gorgeous afternoon light we headed off to the Abbotsford Convent for photos with its old European building.
As they both worked in the hospitality industry and wanting something unique, they chose very well with the Mountain Goat Microbrewery in Richmond to have their reception. It was like kids in a candy store when you saw everyone enjoying the fine brews on tap while plates of soft shell crab were presented to their guests. Then there was the scrumptious wedding cake made by their close friend and professional Pastry Chef, Zara Astrop. Food is Life.
