Amanda & Steve | St John’s Toorak and Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron Wedding

April 13th, 2012
Tweet

Before I introduce todays wedding let me tell you the story of Steve’s proposal to Amanda. Guys take note and girls, sorry, Amanda has her man.

Steve, being the true romantic, took Amanda out to dinner one night but insisted that they go back home for desert. Not what you think! At home a small delicate cake was presented. As Amanda cut through the cake she suddenly hit something hard, dug a little deeper to find a little ring box. As she slowly raised her head there was Steve on one knee with her engagement ring in hand. Told you he is a true romantic and a strategist by not baking the ring into the cake, along with the box!

Now back to the wedding day….Amanda looked absolutely stunning in her Jane Hill dress, Cinderella Bella shoes, which were complimented by her Botanica Flowers bouquet.

Her attention to detail was amazing and truly added that touch of individual elegance to their day. I take my hat off to Amanda who painstakingly hand wrote all her guests names and table numbers on a guilded mirror along with displaying their parent’s original wedding photos at the reception.

The day and lighting conditions were perfect with photos taken at the Kamesburgh Gardens and ending at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron with the sun setting on the St Kilda Pier.
