Q. What do your packages costs?
We don’t have set packages per se; we prefer to work with you to give you exactly what you need for your images and their presentation. Desk Prints start at $185, Mounted Wall Prints at $720 and Box Collections at $1500. These images are museum quality, with each image professionally enhanced and printed on archival paper – far exceeding the quality of digital-only files on a DVD. There are no minimum purchase requirements. See our recent Promotions and book in a session today. -
Q. What’s involved in studio session?
We start by relaxing you! The best images are not necessarily those with the biggest smiles – sometimes they’re just the natural expressions in between poses, especially with children. To get the best results, we try to get to know you, so that we can capture what makes you truly unique. Family session usually takes about an hour.Newborn session can run longer due to feeding, nappy changes and other necessary breaks to patiently settle your bub in for their first professional photo session
When your photo shoot is complete, we’ll book an ordering session with you in the near future, where you can choose your collection of images.

Q. What should I wear for my portrait session?
Your goal is to wear something timeless, something that won’t date that moment in years to come. It’s best to avoid strong patterns and distracting logos. Instead, solid colour tops, especially long-sleeve tops, draw attention to the key focal point of your portrait – your face. Think about a colour scheme that suits your family! Similar-toned clothing, such as denim, always photographs well. For children, bring an extra set of clothes and some favourite toys. . -
Q. How do I book a portrait session?
First, contact the studio to find an appointment that works for us both. We hold studio portrait sessions Mondays to Friday from 9am to 3pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. Get in quick for Saturdays, as they’re snapped up pretty quickly! From here we can have a chat about what style of portrait you’d like and how you’d like to display the final collection of portraits. We require your credit card details at this point to secure your date. We will only charge the $85 booking fee upon completion of the session, or if you miss your appointment entirely or cancel with less than 5 days’ notice. The $85 fee can be used towards your first purchase and is non-refundable. -
Q. How long does it take to select the final images?
When the images are edited, we invite you back to the studio to view 30 to 40 relaxed, natural images on our large, cinematic screen. Ordering Session can take around an hour to establish your favourites and decide on the presentation, in albums or wall art. Each image can be presented in vibrant colours or converted to classic black and white, depending on your preference. We encourage you to think beforehand where in your home you might display the images, so we can make better-informed decisions about presentation. We need all decision makers to be present in this appointment, as this is where you make your purchasing decisions. -
Q. When will our wall art be ready?
Upon approval of your final collection of portraits, you can expect delivery of your wall art within 3 to 4 weeks. All images are further refined with our signature artistic style and printed on archival material to maintain their integrity for generations. -
Q. When is the best time to book maternity sessions?
It’s all about the Bump for this photo session with most women preferring to have their maternity sitting around 8 months, (35 weeks), into their pregnancy. We encourage couples to be featured in their maternity portrait. -
Q. Why are physical prints and albums so important?
Digital images are great, but they’re vulnerable not only to viruses and disc damage, but to obsolescence: in generations to come, who can say if your children will still be able to even open and view the contents of your old DVD format or USB drives? A bound, beautifully-presented album is an important physical heirloom for your children to cherish in the future, as much as you will enjoy now.Archival, professionally-printed images are designed to last for generations, just as printed photos have done throughout history. And truly, nothing beats the feeling of physically turning the pages, absorbing the images as you leaf through those moments in time. A bound, beautifully-presented album is an heirloom, an important and physical record for descendants to enjoy as much as you do.
