I arrived in the gourmet town of Milawa, the day before Georgia and Matt’s wedding, to spend the afternoon scouting the locations we discussed for the best lighting and fell in love with the old Flour Mill. Squeezed in a quick trip to the Milawa Cheese factory for a few little delicacies before heading back to prepare for the next day.
I was so looking forward to capturing the expression on Matt’s face when he saw Georgia for the first time in her gorgeous Collette Dinigan dress and Stuart Weistzman shoes. Laura Gilman did an amazing job on the girl’s hair and make up with her bouquet sourced locally from Rutherglen Florist.
Nice dry, hot 36-degree day with a cool breeze blowing in the shade. Their country wedding was held under the big tree on the front lawns of Lindenwarrah Estate. After the ceremony it was off to the Flower Mill where I went a little crazy putting together the images I visualized the day before. We arrived back for a few photos around the Lindenwarrah winery before going inside to see the simply elegant room set up, with local floral centerpieces and was tempted to …….Let Theme Eat Cake.
Georgia & Matt’s personality and passion for each other was infectious, lighting up the faces of family and friends on their big day. Thank you for the opportunity to capture your unique country wedding and wishing you both all the best living in Toronto and London over the next two years.
