We arrived at Alanah’s parent’s picturesque home with its rolling hills and horses grazing in the paddock. Her bedroom had posters of the equestrian events she had competed in which provided an individual backdrop as Alanah got into her stunning Jane Hill dress and Alan Pinkus shoes. Mum brought in her actual Saddle for a personal touch to the photos. Dad said I couldn’t leave the property unless there was a photo of his daughter in front of Hanging Rock. Not too difficult a request as it could be seen from their back porch.
Their ceremony was held in the majestic and tranquil Gardens of Tieve Tara. With their guests under the marquee and the sun overhead, Marcus saw his gorgeous bride for the first time coming down the path. The natural, candid photographic opportunities at Tieve Tara were endless. On the way back to Melbourne, for their reception at Sketch Docklands, we stopped off at Honor Avenue and a Vintage petrol station for photos. Change of theme at the Docklands where a more contemporary, edgy photographic style was taken to suit the surroundings.
