Jane and Daniels wedding at St Michael’s went a little like this.
It seemed that the rain wasn’t going to let up but with beautiful defused light and wet weather gear packed, all bases where covered.
Daniel’s mesmerising smile, that Jane fell in love with, greeted me when I arrived at his parent’s home. The boys were getting a little cheeky dishing it out to the groom as they got ready. Daniel’s mum Sri brought out her own weeding album to remind us all why wedding stories are so valuable. No Instagram/Photoshop filters here with some of the original film prints having their own 70’s faded vintage feel. Inspiration drawn from the past.
The rain followed me to Jane’s place. Jane’s mum Ann was running around co-ordinating the bridesmaids who seemed to be channeling the groomsmen, as they also dishing it out to the bride. Jane looked amazing in her dress with all the delicate detailed lacework.
Daniel and Jane had their ceremony at St Michael on Collins Street. With the ran sticky around like an unwanted guest the bridal party took off around the Paris end of Melbourne for some classic natural photos before heading off to Fenix in Richmond for their reception.
Enjoy.
